Hols are awesome

It's excellent to be on hols.

Slept late. Got out the door before Mum could give me a list of chores.

So I took out my broom, and let me just say this Cleansweep is super snitch. I made some improvements, too, mostly adding more cushioning and handling charms.

I'm not even wobbly, and I bet I flew 50 miles today. Totally brilliant, that!

Hullo, Ron,

I say, I'd like to have had a lie-in this morning. They had us demonstrating spells all day, what?

So, you've not read your journals at all today, then?

I'm just catching up on it, as well. It was difficult to concentrate on the CCF testing, what, knowing that Terry had started to say something this morning but wasn't saying any more.

To start, Miss Professor Carrow passed away sometime today. I think that's why Carrow posted the way he did. I'm well certain that he took out his grief on our Terry, what?

That's where you were. I was wondering.

Fifty miles, hm?

I might have to practise a bit if I'm going to make the trip to Sally-Anne's mum this summer without breaking my arse.

But yes. The castle's reappeared, and we haven't heard anything from Terry or Mr Professor Carrow or Hermione since.

Glad to hear it!

And I can get her a broom. You don't have to give her yours. Besides, she'll need to get used to riding it, won't she? And it'd be a shame to go without your broom even if it's only for a few weeks. And of course it's better than it was. You're brilliant at brooms.

Perhaps I'll send her new broom along to you first, and you can do what you want to make it tops, and then send it along to her to practise with?

Excellent. I'll order it this morning, and send it your way.

Terry wrote, did you see? He says he's safe.

You know it just occurred to me Fred and George can't see what Terry wrote. Ron or Lee, either of you can send them a PM and no one will think anything of it, right? Maybe tell them something like, 'we got word today from your favourite professor and the git isn't going to be his problem anymore.'

50 miles? That is brilliant.

I did a little flying with Jeremy today but not 50 miles.

I need to look at my summer schedule again, between CCF and being an assistant for the younger kids doing YPL I can't remember what weeks I have free for a quidditch day. Gemma can't WAIT, though.

Bloody hell, Ron, THAT WASN'T UNDER THE LOCK. PAY ATTENTION.

Anyway maybe at the quidditch day we can go for a picnic and test out a bit more distance and see how it goes? And then I'll have a visit at Pansy's, and we'll tell her mum and stepfather we're staying at the London flat, or something.

Oh, I'm sure I can come up with a few things for you to do today!
