Well, there was a fashion for them last year when people were sending each other Howlers that sang loudly or made rude noises.

I've never got a real one, though, not a well cross one like that. But it seems like many of my schoolmates' parents aren't as fussed about mortifying their children in front of everyone, what?

Then again, the consequences are far less, I expect, than here.

Two Howlers. The first came to the caretaker. It was a woman's voice, and she was accusing him of, er, giving her one of those diseases that isn't supposed to be mentioned in polite company. Which seemed a tad bit difficult considering that he could barely get it up and had a willy like a peanut. (The transition there seemed a little muddled.) Oh, and he was a two-timing scum. With Professor Miss Alecto Carrow.

It's the truth. The NEXT Howler was for her. It said she'd better get checked for said disease, and, well, it went downhill from there.
