I just told Mum I needed to go to bed so I could get up in the morning. How wrong is that?!

But really, we've been sitting around not saying anything. Thinking. About this year without Dad. And other things.

The way things changed with us is the best thing that happened to me this year. I mean it.

You went to bed? My Dad wanted to go see the fireworks so we did. He took me by side-along. I think the Twins' fireworks are better, actually, but it was fun seeing the ones over the Thames.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow.
