Hermione? What was that all about with calling me master today when I ran into you in the doorway after Potions? Was that some sort of sick joke Malfoy and Harry were pulling? Cause they were both laughing, weren't they? Or trying not to, but not doing much good at it. Gits.

I can't believe you have to let them make you do stuff like that.

Nev'll probably say I shouldn't even ask you about it. Only it was so odd. And I just want you to know I think it stinks.

He did it to me a lot more when I was younger. Once...only once, I told him 'no.' He beat me up, and hexed the crap out of me, and then he kept me under it for about a week. Once I proved to him I'd jump do whatever he said without question, he eased up. Especially when I started acting more and more like crawling stupid boot all the time. I guess it convinced him his mind games had made a perfect mudblood out of me.

Except that every once in a while, he'll get in this weird sort of mood and he'll put me under it for about a day, even if I'm obeying him perfectly. And he'll make me do all sorts of bizarre things. Like one day I was only allowed to hop on one foot. And another time, I had to crawl everywhere. And another time I had to lick something before I picked it up, whatever it was. A book, or a spoon, or his shoe.

That's the sort of thing he thinks is funny.

Look, it doesn't matter to me, I just am not going to write very much, but yes Ron he put Imperius on me so I have to write a word after every sentence, only I am very pleased to note that I can string all my sentences together so that I only have to do it at the very end, which looks odd and doesn't work when I'm speaking, but that's okay, and it does stink, but he says it'll wear off in a few days or else he'll take it off, and he doesn't really like it either, and the he in this case is Draco and not Harry, and his father ordered him to so I can't be very angry but I am actually, because he could have said 'no' or just made it so that I only said the word to Harry, not everyone, which is extra humiliating, only now that I think of it actually it's rather funny because I'll get to say it to Terry and other Muggleborns too, that is, the word, MASTER.

But if anyone in Slytherin decides to have a laugh by cornering you and making you say 'master' over and over let me know in the journals and I'll pretend I saw it happen and tell a prefect. You shouldn't have to put up with that, and Harry wouldn't even have to intervene, I'm sure Melinda would put a stop to it if need be.
