Say. I'm doing some stuff for Desai today in the department, but I was thinking maybe we could get together tonight. Mum's said she'll have enough for whoever turns up at the table.

We could meet at the Barmy Bailiff in Ottery St Catchpole, say half-five, and then be at the Burrow in time for supper.

What do you say?

Harry. I know you may be tied up, mate, but if you can come, that'd be snitch. If you can come, maybe I'll ask Malfoy, too, only then we shouldn't go down the pub. I expect Mrs L wouldn't think that's a good reason to use a dose of polyjuice, eh?

After today, we can start going in together, if you like. Mr Pontner's asked me in as well. I say, I'm not sure why he didn't want me this morning, but no doubt I shall find out tomorrow.

I'm having dinner over at Susan Bones' home. I wouldn't say it's a better offer, but then I haven't tasted Mrs Bones' cooking yet. I already know your mum's a champ behind the stove.

Oh, she had me come over so I could talk to her mum, mostly, about that muggle idea of what they call dyslexia. Muggles have studied it, it's something that happens in the brain that causes learning problems. Like kids who have it see letters wrong: flipped around. I think Susan may be right, that it's something that I have. It would explain a lot. Why I misspell if I don't use a correcting quill, and why I'm such a slow reader.

We did have a nice talk afterwards. I think she likes just whoever she likes.

Define y'know. I think she just likes me. And I like her. But nothing more serious than that. Not yet, anyway!

But maybe in the future. Too soon to tell.

I was afraid of that since you haven't been saying much. What have they been having you do? I mean, ribbon cuttings and groundbreakings and boring luncheons? Or just a lot of nothing?

I need to work out a way to get out and get that thing Mrs Longbottom mentioned, that Draco and Hermione have. It's supposed to make it easier to find things like Horcruxes.

Say. I heard this afternoon there's going to be some big thing after Christmas that's got to have all sorts of security. Kind of last minute, too, it seems like. Hopkirk was pulling people into a big meeting about it.
