Okay. I made it. No need to worry. Nothing's happening here and won't be for a while. Not till evening, probably. Not sure. Maybe pretty late.

I did a bit of recon on the grounds as I was leaving. I wanted to see what was going on in the Forest since Charlie said they're out there. Thought maybe I'd catch sight of him at least, but I didn't. Didn't catch his scent, even. It's good they're keeping out of sight because there are werewolves out there. Loads of them. Dead ripe, too. And the Forest is, I dunno how to describe it, but it's really on edge out there. The thestrils have all come close--I could see them through the trees. Standing in groups. Restless. I didn't see any Centaurs, but they're definitely there, and they're bristling. I could smell them, too. And feel them. I mean, the ground was rumbling with their stamping.

What I didn't sense were any unicorns. Guess they're keeping their distance. The spiders, too, though I could tell they're out there. Agitated.

It was all bloody tense.

No sign of Auror Lestrange, by the way.

Makes the atmosphere here seem downright cheery!


By the way, the lion made him smile. He's got it with him. And Hydra, he says, 'I believe in you, too.'

Why haven't you told what Harry's plan is?

I know that with Sally Anne, my mother might be able to legilimise it, if she comes inside the castle. But that's not the case with me.

Well, I'd say my chances of seeing tomorrow aren't any better than they'd have been if I'd stayed at Hogwarts.

They took away the comfortable chairs here, we're back to tables and benches like we'd have at mealtimes, although they're not making us sit at the tables and I'm on the floor leaning against a wall, next to Pansy.

Everyone's waiting. They're bringing in more Enforcers. I'm wondering if the Order should have moved last night, when it would have been more of a surprise.

Madam P's planning to be at the staging area. She was here for a few minutes. Had other stops to make, she said, but she's going to be ready either to go into the school or to head off to one of the safehouses. Depends where she's needed most.
