Oh, Weasley. It wasn't even her idea, it was her mum's idea, and Professor Lockhart said it was fine. I don't think Brown did anything wrong and I don't expect Bundy's worried she'll get sick from Brown's diary. It's just that Director Selwyn and the Headmistress realised something dangerous could come through, since Brown's diary did.
Of course it was her fault. It doesn't take a genius to see they shouldn't have been passing stuff through the fires. I mean, if they'd meant us to pass stuff through the fires, they'd have said 'No parcels by post, but feel free to pass care packages to your children through the fires.' But they didn't say that, did they?
And, yeah, the only person who spends more time doing their hair is Lockhart.
Her MUM and A PROFESSOR handed it to her, was she supposed to say 'oh no thank you! what if mummy has the disease'?
I mean you're right but you're wrong. You're right it's obvious it was against the rules but you're wrong for blaming Brown. It was her mum and Professor Lockhart who are at fault but for Merlin's sake don't say THAT in the diary either.
Right, and it should have been obvious they meant us not to hand stuff through the fires. I mean, her Mum must have known she couldn't send it by post. Why would she think it was okay to hand it through the fire? That's the point. Perks.
I dont think it was obvious at all Weasley. Father sends me things through the fire all the time.
I mean I think it was good that they thought of it. Because like Lav said someone COULD HAVE had a problem. Like maybe if your father handed you something. His work means he meets all kinds of people. So he could give you something infected.
Obviously, your father can make that decision, but I don't think he'd think it's okay for the rest of us to decide it's sometimes okay to send stuff into the school. Isn't that the whole point of this quarrentine thing?
And obviously my parents haven't broken the quarrentine. Because they get that your father and the Ministry want to keep us safe--and they do, too.
Harry says he's so sorry, it's just that it's been ever so bad in the Slytherin common room and he had to do something, they all hate you and they were going to hate him too even if he is the Lord Protector's son, and he had to! So I told him I could give you this message, and I'm just sitting outside the Slytherin common room writing this really, so I'll have to go back in a second, should I tell him I gave you anything in particular??
Ron, I don't think you really understand, honestly you don't, but I'll tell him, I'm just - I think you should think about it, really I do. He doesn't mean it.
