The Prophet sent someone out to talk to us this afternoon. And take pictures. Mine and Malfoy's.

He spent the whole time looking like he'd just stepped in something foul. I'm sure the picture will be hilarious--both of us trying to get out of the frame so we don't have to stand by the other git.

I think they might've said it'd be in tomorrow. I'm not sure. I think they were talking to Professor Brutka, too. Anzywiz, they were asking him if they could get pictures of the hippogriff. He didn't seem too happy about that. But maybe he's worried they're trying to get him sacked?

That really is going to be the most hilarious newspaper picture ever, both of you trying to escape. Maybe they'll run a picture of the hippogriff instead.

I hope they don't sack him, he's really a good professor.

I know. He really is. Not at all like Carrow. I couldn't think of a good way to say that to the reporter, though, so don't worry, I didn't tell her anything that'd make things worse with him. I don't think. I mean, she did seem to want to know what it's like having lessons with someone like Professor Carrow. I guess everyone reads what he writes. She wanted to know if he really uses pigeons and does horrible things to them! I had to tell her he's saying one thing and meaning something else mostly when he writes about pigeons.

But then we got back on Buckbeak--did you know that's its name? The hippogriff. I guess I missed that or forgot or, I dunno. I was sort of confused when she kept asking about Buckbeak. Malfoy was really rude about that, too. Like I was an idiot not to have noticed what its name was while I was busy almost getting killed.

Anywiz. Whatever. It's over, and they can say whatever they want.

So long as they don't write that I was trying to get all you Slytherins killed. You don't think they will, do you? I mean, I know sometimes they twist stories around so they sound like something completely the opposite of what really happened. You don't think they'll write stuff that'll get my family in trouble, do you?

It wasn't that horrible woman from last year who wouldn't leave Pansy alone, was it? Because if it was I would be a lot more worried.

I did know the hippogriff's name was Buckbeak because Professor Brutka mentioned it at the beginning of the lesson, but I'm not surprised you forgot, considering.
