I don't know what I think about it.

I didn't like Mr Crouch. At least whoever did this didn't kill loads of other people, trying to get at Mr Crouch. But

I don't know, I still don't like it.

And did you see what Hydra said, about how Mr Crouch hardly ever spoke to her and she thought perhaps he didn't like children?

He once posted in my journal when I was at the Stretton's, replying to me when I was writing about Gemma. Just to be creepy. So it's not that he doesn't like to talk to children; it's just that he only likes to talk to us when he's trying to scare us. Having any sort of NORMAL interaction with people he's not allowed to intimidate -- that's what he didn't care for.

Yeah.

I'd be happier if whoever it was had gotten Mrs Lestrange. (Or Amycus Carrow, wouldn't THAT have been fantastic? I don't know if he ever leaves the castle where he's got Terry, though.)

Yeah.

Although I don't understand, if people saw her throwing herself into the river, why no one stopped her? Did they not have their wands with them? Did they forget how to cast a summoning spell? Were they ALL just far away enough that they couldn't use it but just close enough that they could still see her?

Or -- OK, I'm looking at the article again and it's not clear anyone DID see her throw herself into the river, they just saw her heading that way and filling her pockets with stones and so on but no one said 'are you all right, dear, would you like to come sit down and have a cuppa?' or anything like that. And it makes it sound like she's been going quietly mad for months but no one took her to St Mungo's or anything.

I'll tell you one thing, I'm glad I'm not related to ANY of those people.

Well, goodness knows the Prophet isn't always right about people being mad.

think it's awful that someone can just walk up to someone else, an Auror, and just kill him, just like that, in front of his mum. Or set off a bomb in the middle of a crowd. And then be proud of it, like it's something good.

I think that with all the important people coming to Hogwarts for the Triwizard cup, they might try to do something here.

Every time I think about what happened to Auror Crouch I think about what happened at the Cup and I just feel sick to my stomach.

Those Dog Star people made it seem like it was them, but I guess they could just want to take credit even if it wasn't.

Why would Auror Crouch's mum kill him?

I mean... that's awful to think about.

I thought she jumped into the river and offed herself after he was killed.

Or maybe it was before.

Or maybe she was pushed.

Or maybe she's hiding like you said, only it's because she doesn't want to get killed too.

Ugh.

Ugh ugh ugh.

I'm not sure I want to think too much more on it. Because it's just so incredibly depressing either way.
