I'm going to get Seamus Bloody Finnigan if it's the last bleedin' thing I ever do.
I mean it.
He'd best not sleep in this dormitory again without casting every protection spell he knows.

Date: 2011-11-29 08:24 pm (UTC)I know his mum and dad don't have a lot of money.
I was going to just suggest that I buy him some new ones, but do you think he'd take offence? I mean, at least we can make the old ones look better than they were.

Date: 2011-11-29 08:27 pm (UTC)Honestly. Why'd she bother sending them?

Date: 2011-11-29 08:33 pm (UTC)It's not like I'm going to go to the Ball, anywiz.
Only Seamus Bleedin Finningan had to go make a meal of Mum's sending me a frilly old witch's nightrobe as if I'd ever wear anything like that.
I'm going to hex him so hard it'll take Madam Pomfrey a month to heal him.

Date: 2011-11-29 08:42 pm (UTC)So what's the best payback hex you can think of? I was thinking either the boiling bunions jinx or the elasto-lips one, 'cause doesn't that make your lips get huger and huger until they're so gigantic they drag on the floor?

Date: 2011-11-29 08:57 pm (UTC)The thing is, they're second hand, and not in very good shape. Cuffs are frayed that sort of thing. So I dunno if much can be done with them.
Fred and George got some robes in packages, but they said they were handmedowns from their brothers, Bill and Charlie. Guess Mrs Weasley had to get something new for Ron.
Well, used.
They look like they were very stylish maybe forty years ago.

Date: 2011-11-29 09:52 pm (UTC)But we ought to get them now instead of later, even if he isn't thinking of going now, just in case he changes his mind. Could you twist his arm and get him to pass them off to us?
Also. Do you think he'd get touchy if I bought him a new pair?
Maybe just a new shirt and tie?
