Have you lot seen what the Hufflepuffs've done to the north stairs? They've charmed a great ginormous banner to cover the gap when the steps rotate away from fourth west.

Saw it on my way up here to Binns' room. Wish I'd been on that one--people were dancing on it!


Hope Diggory sees it before Milland comes along and takes it away.

It's still there! One of the second-years tried to bounce on it like a blanket or trampoline, what, and a prefect told her off.

No one will say who put it up but Begy claims it's perfectly safe.

Did you hear what happened when Milland showed up? I've never seen him so cross. Somehow he figured out that it was Fleet and Diggle and he threatened to keep them in detention right through the end of their NEWTs so they'd have to repeat the year. Professor Vector told him he couldn't so he told them he'd take 200 points apiece. Worth it, though.

(Besides, Professor Vector waited until he'd gone and gave them each 100 points for ingenuity.)

Anyway, Milland made them take it down but--brilliant, hey?
