Even better than the one at the start of term, yeah?

But what I want to know is were those some kind of magical prawns in that soup or what? I tell you, the ones in my bowl were doing flips and spinners in the broth. And they were sorta wiggly going down.

Pretty nift to see so many people in the great hall all together. I mean, that was a serious lot of people. And loud! Sounds different to have people talking loads of different languages all at once.

Anywiz, welcome to all the visitors, and, um, I guess we'll see tomorrow what it's like to have new people in lessons.

Are you sure someone didn't turn your bouillabaise into a prank? There were no swimming prawns in the bowl at Slytherin table, and it's just as well, I don't fancy the idea of wiggly food.

It was a wonderful feast, though.

Er, yes. Ours were certainly not swimming, either.

Sorry. Hope you feel better soon, mate!

Oh, I say, I'm glad you're on the mend, old chap.

Lessons? Well. I'll say this much. It's a good job my first magical tutor was English-born, as I've some experience in the way your professors teach it. Well, I should say a smidgen of it, rather, but at least I'm accustomed to thinking 'magic' and 'English' all at once, what? Otherwise it should be jolly difficult going.

I say, I rather liked the Defence lesson, however. Your Professor Lestrange is well skilled!

Yes, I did rather and I've seen his friends call him Raz or Razzer (Draco does as well but he's also Draco's uncle, isn't he?). I say, it's all rather cosy in the Protectorate, isn't it? It seems like almost everyone's related to someone important impressive in civil service, government or some such.

I just can't quite imagine calling one's Professor a nickname, what? I mean to say, even when one of my tutors encouraged it I found it--well awkward. It's odd he doesn't mind, isn't it, especially when his sister-in compared to our professors.
