So those are some big books. A load of them, too. And he seems to have a lot to say. In that post about the course, and the letter about the books.

Glad I left this morning before that came in. Mum's not saying anything about it now, but I bet it was hot here this morning. I think it was good I went on and bought those myself. She hasn't said yet when we're going as a family, but they might not have any left by then, and this way, maybe I won't have to hear about how cross it makes her to have to buy those, y'know.

But the good thing is, I have that money from being a YPL counsellor! so I COULD just buy the books instead of having to watch while all the good translations slipped away.

Have you looked at anything yet? The Peverell books is actually dead interesting. It's about how you write your OWN spells, or if you've had something cast on you, how you figure out what it was and how to do the same thing. At first it's pretty general, it gets into curses in the later chapters.
